2026 Parent's Guide!
2026 Program Update: New Half-Day Format
To provide smaller group sizes and more focused activities, Kids@Play is transitioning to a half-day modular format. Families can now mix and match programs to customize their child's summer experience.
The Options:
Choose one or both sessions to create a full or half-day schedule. Note: Beach and Recreation tracks operate independently and do not interact.
- Morning Session: Drop-off 8–9 AM | Activities 9 AM–12:00 PM | Pick-up 12:00–12:30 PM
- Afternoon Session: Drop-off 12:00 PM–12:30 PM | Activities 12:30–4 PM | Pick-up 4–5 PM

How to Register / Update Your Schedule
- New Registrations: Select your preferred AM/PM combination during checkout.
- Currently Registered Families: Please check your email to complete the Session Selection Form.
Flexible Pricing: Only need half a day? Register for just one session (AM or PM) and pay only 50% of the daily rate.

- 6:1 staffing ratio (vs industry standard of 10:1)
- Please note that we cannot guarantee exactly a 6:1 ratio during pick up and drop off, although we are never far off

When Kids arrive in the morning, they will be presented with a schedule of activities running during the day. These activities will include all the favorites such as kayaking, swimming, arts and crafts, sports, and all sorts of crazy games and activities. We are excited to continue offering our theme weeks/activities, dress up days, and much more this summer! Our goal is that your kids get the freedom to choose the activities that they will have the most fun with! We take suggestions from kids (and parents) when it comes to making the schedules to make sure that we incorporate plenty of variety while still ensuring that favorite activities get plenty of representation.
Field Trips:
Field Trips will be optional with a full day of activities still happening right at Kiwanis Beach for those that don't want to go. The price of the field trip will be dependant on where we go and the costs associated (see the specific field trip program for details). All kids MUST be signed up for BOTH a morning and afternoon program of Kids@Play and the field trip. Field trips will have a 5:1 staffing ratio.
You must sign up for fields trips separately - spots are not guaranteed with sign up for Kids@Play or LIT programs

- K-4th Grade: Planetarium, 5th-8th Grade: Simulator (min 12 needed for simulator)
July 2nd (Week 2) - Davis Farmland
July 9th (Week 3) - Pinz Bowling
July 16th (Week 4) - West End Creamery
July 23rd (Week 5) - Revolution Camp Day
July 30th (Week 6) - Southwick Zoo
August 6th (Week 7) - WooSox Camp Day
August 13th (Week 8) - Urban Air
August 20th (Week 9) - Central Rock Gym
*Children will still be dropped off and picked up at Kiwanis Beach during normal drop off and pick up times
2026 Pricing:
$130 per half day per week ($122.50 for second child, $107.50 3rd+ children)
$32.50 per half day ($30 for second child, $27.50 for 3rd+ children)
