9:00 AM - 4:00 PM    Leader in Training Program - Next Gen 01568 - Next Gen 01568
COVID 19 Update - Click here for our opening guide (most things in the guide refer to Kids @ Play, but the LIT program will functionally run the same, they just have their own activities and trainings, so the procedures are the same for both programs)As of this moment, we are still anticipating that the "Lunch with Leaders" will still happen. At Upton Rec, we love to have fun.  Playing games, swimming, boating, crafts, whatever!  While many of these activities will have positive effects, such as increasing physical health and inspiring creativity, a leader is looking for more.  Next Gen 01568 is our Leader in Training program, designed to give the desired education and experience to set you up to become one of the new generation of leaders.  Weather in the business world, the civic world, or simply volunteer work, there are several core values to leadership.  Our Leader in training program is build on the mindset that there are three pillars to leadership.  These   pillars are made up of core values in Personal traits, Relational capabilities, and Professional excellence.  In this program, we will dig in to these concepts and work to help you understand what these are and how you can develop them.  One of the top ways that we do this is through our “lunch with Leaders” program.  Over the course of the summer, we will do some Friday lunches with local leaders.  You will get to hear from them what their path to leadership was and what leadership means to them in their professional role and in their personal life.We strongly believe that everyone is a leader to some extent.  Our actions influence and impact others around us.  Having an official title is not a requirement for leadership.  Because of this, we feel that it is   important for everyone to understand what is required for good leadership, and that is why we run this   program.Several of our current staff started out in this program, and over the years, I’m sure we will see many more progress through the staffing levels of the program.  Who knows, maybe someday you will run this program yourselves!Weekly Pricing:  $165 per Week$50 daily option available
