What grade should I list my child as?
Select the grade your child is currently in. Yes, the summer programs will be based off of the grade they will be in during next fall, however the system knows to allow registration based on the grade your child will be in after the finish of school this year.

Will spaces be held for in person registration?
No, we highly recommend families register online if they want a limited enrollment program.

What recreation programs, events and activities are happening in town?
The Recreation Department offers a wide variety of activities and events for people of all ages and abilities and you can find out what's happening many different ways.
Information is current on our website at www.uptonrec.com.  You can also check the Town Crier and Upton Daily https://uptondaily.com for information as well.
 
Can I pay with a credit card?
Yes, we accept Discover, Master Card, and Visa. Please see Payment Policy. 

Can I register online for a program?
Yes, please be sure to Create an Account first.
 
Will I get a confirmation letter for a program I signed up for?
You will receive notice by email when you complete your online registration. If you do not have an email address you will not be notified. You are welcome to call and double check that you are in the class.
 
How will I know if my program is cancelled due to inclement weather?
If Mendon\Upton Schools are closed, so are our programs. For evening and weekend programs we will make the determination as early as possible and post cancellations on our website. You will be notified by email\text message if you have checked the box to request cancellation notices.

Do I need a permit to use parks and field space?
Individuals may use park and field space if the facilities are open and there is not a permitted group using the area. All groups using any recreation space in town need to obtain a permit.

Where can I launch a boat on Pratt Pond?
On the opposite side of the pond from the beach is a boat ramp. 
 
Can I bring my dog to Kiwanis Beach?
No dogs are allowed on any public beach in Upton at any hour of the day, from May 15 through September 30. Outside of those dates, dogs are allowed on the beach as long as they are leashed. Owners are responsible for picking up all dog waste.
